Lord,

This is the time I need you the most

Because I have finally reached the stage where my actions would shape my life.

A stage where focus as crucial as it is, is rarer than gems and even more precious than diamonds 
Where our priorities are misplaced with or without our consent 

Where we have to go with the flow of life because we don't believe in ourselves to think and are too lazy to act.

Most times we don't even realise until we are fully gone.

Dear Lord,

Keep me in line

And protect me from the alien cravings that comes from being grown 

Call me when I'm deviating and keep me in check

Give me the grace to stay true to myself even when the world sees different as stupid

Help me to act right in ways favourable to the perfect life ahead.

Amen.

A prayer many adults never made in their youth

Now when they see the younglings dream they laugh and say "You never see life"

They showcase their failures and brag about their aborted dreams but fail to amnounce their shortcomings.

As a child who had alotttttt of dreams I got those "wait till you see life" laughs.
It pained and disgusted me to see self-disappointment behind their mockery

But here I am
At the stage were they missed
I have realized
That truly it is hard
Very difficult I can swear
This is were we introduce the God factor 
Cause only by his grace shall we survive
